Museum
The museum in Javoříčko highlights the tragic events of World War II and the history of the burned village. The permanent exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to understand the deeper context and honor the memory of the victims.
The local museum is housed in the historic Javoříčko school - one of the few buildings that survived the village's burning by the Nazis in May 1945. The exhibition presents the village's history, focusing on the tragic events at the end of World War II and the burning of the village. The permanent exhibit offers visitors an opportunity to understand the deeper context and honor the memory of the victims.
In addition to the main display of large-format photographs, historical texts, and a model of the village, visitors can also watch a documentary featuring testimonies from witnesses of those fateful days.
The exhibition is open daily, except Mondays, in July and August. Individual tours can be arranged by contacting info@javoricko.cz or calling +420606352503.
